Southwood Waste Management (SWM) operates a fully licensed Inert landfill site although we are constantly looking to innovative cost-effective ways of diversifying material flow away from landfill in line with the Environmental Agency's outlook and back into industry. Finding these routes takes a lot of research and investment, but fulfilling the ultimate goal of prolonging resource life-span is one where our customers can benefit, whilst protecting the environment.

SPECIAL WASTE TYPES

Asbestos - SWM is licensed to Transport and dispose of asbestos and does so in a safe manner as regulated by the Environmental Agency. Additionally all documentation can be administered (unless carried out externally) by SWM as legally required by the Environmental Agency.
