The Transfer Station is the core of Southwood Waste Management's (SWM) operation, all materials brought into the site are recycled here, unless they are a Special Waste.

Incorporating the latest technology and systems for sorting waste, SWM has led the way in its recycling operation where it reclaims 80% of the waste delivered into the site.

Always looking to the future, SWM is developing a waste recycling system that will recycle even greater amounts of waste, whilst protecting the environment and increasing the companies efficiency. 

WOODCHIPPING OPERATION

Southwood Waste Mangement is the largest recycler of waste wood in the southwest of England. We can provide a collection service, or you can deliver your wood to our site yourself. Wood and packaging are recycled into woodchips which are recycled by CSC Forest Products and used to provide high quality fibreboard.
